Autonomous Driving

source
We love driving, but some days we wish our cars would just drive themselves. That day might not be as far away as you think. Check out this new Nissan LEAF prototype that can park itself, come when you call it and warn you about burglars!
Using a remote monitoring system, the NSC-2015 can recognize surrounding environmental cues. An all-around view camera and 4G mobile connection lets the car "see" its surrounds, no matter its location, marking a departure from the usual GPS-based systems used in some other self-parking vehicles.
Technology is amazing I tell, absolutely amazing.

Too Cool for the Cube

I don't want to categorize the Nissan Cube, but it might be the coolest car I've ever seen. Right now were having a special on this very one-- it's a 2012 Nissan Cube 1.8 S for only $19,609!!

Talk about a great deal on a great ride! Did we mention that the Cube gets 27 mpg city and 31 mpg highway? Yeah, what's not to love about the third generation Cube, with it's curved styling cues and striking rear bumper area, it's the epitome of modern designed and comfort.

Jay Leno Visits Nissan Heritage Garage

Comedian and car collector Jay Leno visited the Nissan Heritage Garage where he took the legendary Fairlady 240Z for a spin.

For Leno, the garage brought back memories of one of his early roadsters, the Datsun 1600, a predecessor to the 240Z.
“The first car I bought when I got some money was a 1600,” said Leno. “It was a 1964 – a couple of years old.  It was so far superior to the British sports cars of the time – the MGs, the Triumphs – it had roll-up windows, the top you could put up, and it would snap and was water-tight.  It was a very impressive car.”

Best Vehicle For Commuting

Need to get from point A to point B in the most fuel-efficient and convenient way possible? TotalCarScore.com suggests hopping in a 100-percent electric Nissan LEAF, which it recently named the No. 1 car for commuting.

"What we like about this list is that it truly measures the LEAF in the way it was intended—as a zero-emissions car with no-compromise performance," said Brendan Jones, director, Electric Vehicle Marketing and Sales Strategy. "Our data shows that Nissan LEAF owners drive an average of 31 miles per day, which makes it a perfect choice to meet the daily driving needs of most Americans."

The Nissan LEAF uses zero gas, offers a quiet and confident ride and boasts a slate of convenience features to make the driving experience easier and more comfortable. The Nissan LEAF is the world’s first all-electric, zero-emission vehicle for the mass market, and it’s the first electric car for anyone to purchase, anywhere in the United States.
